Montgomery Gentry

I just found a song that legitimately breaks my heart. It is so true in so many ways. These men and women go overseas to fight for our country, for each and every one of us. So why do they get treated like crap when they come home? People don't understand them, people don't respect their missions or what they had to do. People judge them without really knowing anything about them. And it's wrong. Please, just give a soldier the same respect you give anybody else.

Even if you don't agree with the war(s) you still should respect the fact that these men and women are doing something dangerous and extremely difficult so that YOU don't have to. I realize that things aren't nearly as bad now as they were after Vietnam, but they are still bad. There is NO excuse for the fact that soldiers  feel like this when they come home. Please help end the hatred now!
